This policy explains cancellations, refunds, and credits for payments made to Lanning Aviation ("Lanning Aviation").
Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your scheduled lesson. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged the lesson fee. Weather cancellations and instructor/aircraft cancellations are not charged and will be rescheduled at no penalty.
Deposits paid to reserve a lesson are applied to your lesson cost, and are refundable if you cancel with at least 24 hours' notice.
Discovery flights are refundable if cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. Discovery flight payment is credited toward enrollment if you enroll within 30 days.
Enrollment deposits for training packages (PPL, Instrument, Commercial, Multi-Engine, Full Pathway) are non-refundable if you choose not to enroll, but are fully credited toward your program once you enroll. Unused prepaid training hours are refundable at the standard hourly rate, less any package discount and materials already provided.
Prepaid block time is purchased up front and credited toward your flight time at the agreed block rate. Unused block time does not expire.
Missed lessons without notice may be charged the full lesson amount.
